Active Living Program

The Active Living Program™ is a sponsored educational seminar that promotes optimal health through the ABCs™ of Activity, Balanced Nutrition and Complementary Supplements.

The purpose of the Program is to promote active, pain-free and disease-free lifestyles naturally, through awareness of specific disease-fighting foods, natural supplements that complement a balanced diet and regular physical activities that promote overall health.

The Program is delivered by ALP’s™ Health and Wellness Team, Nutritionist and Senior Educator Sarah Holvik and Kinesiologist Michelle Quintana, who present practical and natural solutions to today’s health challenges as well as the “Full Body Flow”™ daily exercise routine in this 30 minute seminar.

In conjunction with the seminar, guests will be invited to join the ALP™ website community at http://www.activelivingprogram.com to enjoy a variety of health articles; tips on healthy living through our Blogs, delicious healthy recipes and more!

The Program is offered to community centers, senior’s centers and other non-profit organizations across Canada.

The "Full Body Flow" is a 6 minute active routine promoting range of motion, flexibility, coordination and a greater well being. The program is broken into 3 major components of fitness: active range of motion, strength & stability, balance & alignment and then finishes off with a full body cool-down. Most of the exercises can be performed while standing or seated to accommodate all participants.
