Highlights From the CHFA EXPO West in Vancouver & New Product Sneak Peek!

We had an action packed weekend at the CHFA Expo West at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre.  The sun was shining and the natural health products retailers and aficionados were out and about.  We had a great time connecting with our retailers and meeting new people and ultimately enjoyed the overwhelming positive feedback from sampling our new product! The Ride For Red

SierraSil® is proudly supported the 'Ride for Red'; a fun initiative to benifit both the Canadian and US Red Cross.  With such a need for effective aid on our planet this organization is a worthy recipient of generous financial support.  In the 'Ride for Red' celebrity athletes will cycled over 4,000 KM from Calgary to LA to raise awareness and funds for the Red Cross.  Check the website out HERE.

Damon Allen’s Quarterback Challenge

The Quarterback Challenge is an annual event hosted by Damon Allen and broadcast live on TSN. CFL Quarterbacks compete for the title of Best Quarterback with proceeds going to charity. The program is a free 30-minute interactive seminar that is designed to provide education to individuals seeking a simple outline for daily healthy living best practices. This seminar is offered to all Community Adult Day Centres, Senior Organizations & Associations, First Nation Communities, New Immigrant and Cultural Centre and all other Non-Profit Organizations. The scope of the program starts with nutritional guidelines such as simple and cost effective ways to follow Canada’s food guide, with a specific focus on foods that have natural anti-inflammatory properties. It continues with an explanation of the cause of mineral deficiencies and how to restore weakened joint and muscle areas. The program concludes with “The 6-Minute Flow”, a daily activity based routine targeting the neck & shoulders, arms and legs that encourages flexibility and mobility.

The program is conducted by our health and wellness team, Sarah Holvik a Nutritionist and Michelle Quintana a Registered Kinesiologist.
